From 6 to 11 October 2026, Fribourg will host the 14th edition of the Swiss Cheese Awards<\/a>, a major event that celebrates the best Swiss cheeses in 33 categories every two years.<\/p>\n

We will be at the Cheese Market in front of the Tourist Office in the Bourg district on Saturday, 10 October, from 9 am to 2 pm and on Sunday, 11 October, from 9 am to 5 pm, to present the caquelon designed by Fribourg-based designer Julien Ayer<\/a> and crafted in our workshop.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, 10 October, a fondue tasting will take place at noon, with the support of Vacherin Fribourgeois<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A beautiful meeting of design, craftsmanship and Fribourg\u2019s cheese-making tradition!<\/p>\n

Ami a Hook presented by Bread and Butter<\/a> Design by Daniel Schofield<\/p>

Designed for a group project called Bread and Butter, where each designer is tasked to create the perfect pair for a specific scenario, in this case the setting was bathing. I often think storage is overlooked in bathing areas, so this two-in-one object combines a small bowl for objects like soap, your watch or jewelry, along with a hook for hanging clothes or towels. Made of ceramic, a material perfectly suited to bathing areas, this useful little object aims to be at service when you need to relax.<\/p>
